Based on the global wave of digital transformation, this forum focuses on the transformation of China's information communication system in the era of intelligence, as well as the innovative exploration of developing countries in Africa, Asia and other regions to build a digital communication system and governance platform based on local culture. It focuses on the multiple paths of modernization in information communication driven by intelligent technology, deeply discussing the modernization models and practical paths of information communication across various civilizational contexts. Meanwhile, this work comprehensively analyzes the theoretical paradigms and technical challenges of information communication modernization by combining cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, media convergence, data governance, and cross-border communication. By showcasing academic successes and having detailed discussions, it seeks to inspire international graduate students in their research and innovation, create a communication platform for scholars from China and abroad, support the development of a theory system for information communication modernization that reflects local traits and a global perspective, and provide insights for the sustainable growth of the global communication ecosystem

Professor LI Jidong
Convener Profile:
Professor LI Jidong, deputy dean and doctoral supervisor of the School of Information and Communication at the Communcation University of China and a research fellow of the State Key Laboratory of Media Convergence and Communication. He is a Council Member of the International Academic Network for a Community with Shared Future, Distinguished Expert of the World Chinese Media Research Center of China News Service, Deputy Director of the Engineering Communication Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Science and Technology Journalism, and Chief Expert of Major Projects of the National Social Science Fund of China. He has published nearly 100 papers in Guangming Daily, Modern Communication, Journalism University and other journals, and published more than 20 works, including Research on Innovation of China's Film and Television Policy, Rsearch on Changes and Problems of UK Public Broadcasting Policy, and Blue Books on International Communication and Global Media. He has presided over more than 30 projects commissioned by the National Social Science Fund and the Key Projects Commissioned by the Information Office of the State Council, as well as enterprises and institutions such as Xinhua News Agency and China National Petroleum Corporation. He has been a visiting scholar at the Social Law Research Center of the University of Oxford, UK, and the School of Journalism and Mass Communication of the University of Minnesota, USA. He has won the Second Prize of the 17th and 10th Outstanding Achievements Awards in Philosophy and Social Sciences of Beijing Municipality, the First and Third Prizes of the 8th and 9th National Radio and Television Academic Works Award in the Decision Management Category, the First Prize of the Excellent Paper of the 2002 National Publishing House Marketing Forum, and other awards. His main research fields include history and theory of communication, international communication, discourse studies, information communication and digital ecology, and other fields. The main courses he teaches include the theory and history of communication, discourse studies, and crisis communication, among others.

(4) Submission Guidelines:
Each author may submit only one paper, either as sole author or as first author (including co-authored works). Submissions should demonstrate originality, research significance, and potential application value. Manuscripts must not have been previously published or presented at academic conferences, and must not be under consideration elsewhere. Please include a separate cover page with the following information for all authors: full name, gender, affiliation, mailing address, postal code, phone number, and email address. No modifications will be accepted after the submission deadline.
For Humanities and Social Sciences Papers:
Submissions must be in Chinese or English, in .doc or .pdf format. Recommended word count is between 6,000 and 12,000 words. Manuscripts should follow the formatting guidelines of the Modern Communication and include the following sections: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Main Text, References, and Endnotes (all notes must appear as endnotes).
For Science, Technology, and Engineering Papers:
Submissions must be in Chinese or English, in .doc or .pdf format, and limited to 8 A4 pages. Chinese-language papers should follow the formatting requirements of the Chinese Journal of Computers (website: http://cjc.ict.ac.cn). English-language papers should conform to the formatting guidelines of IEEE Access or IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Computing.
Academic Integrity:
All submissions will undergo a rigorous review process. Any academic misconduct (e.g., plagiarism, duplicate submission) will result in immediate disqualification. Authors must uphold academic integrity and ethical standards. Formal invitations will be issued to authors whose papers pass the review.
